Huawei Launches Ascend Y520 with New Brand Ambassador Humaima Malick

Huawei has just put forward its first smartphone under the umbrella of its new Brand Ambassador, Humaima Malick. The ceremony was attended by the Media personnel, bloggers and Huawei fans.
The Launch ceremony took place in Royal Palm Golf and Country Club Lahore, this Saturday, starring CEO Huawei Mr. Simon Geng, Director of Huawei Pakistan Mr. Bruce Fanhong, Marketing Head Fraz Khan.
Mr. Simon inaugurated the launch ceremony and officially announced Humaima Malick as the Brand Ambassador for its new Huawei Ascend series. Talking about the new Ascend Y520, he said that people are confused about the meaning of numbers 520 and explained that 520 represents the meaning of ‘I love you’ in China and further explained that gifting Ascend Y520 to your parents, children and family members is an indirect way to show your love and since people love Humaima, they will surely be loving the new Huawei Ascend Y520.
Additionally, telling the audiences about the pronunciation and meaning of ‘Huawei’, Mr. Simon said that ‘Hua’ means China and ‘wei’ means outstanding achievements and through Huawei, their intention is to change the image of Chinese products from cheap and poor quality to (with the) the best products.
The ceremony continued with the address of Head of Marketing Mr. Faraz Khan who introduced some of the key features of Ascend Y520, followed by the speech of Humaima Malick and concluded with the official signing ceremony.
The host of the event was famous model Natasha, who made the launch ceremony of Ascend Y520 sparkling. She also selected five random volunteers, to pronounce ‘Huawei’ and gave all of them Ascend Y520 as a part of promotional activity.
The new Huawei Ascend Y520 is far better than its predecessor Y530 in terms of specs and keeping in mind the price, performance and design of Ascend Y520 actually making it recommendable to buy and is expected to gain more traction probably due to its specs and New brand Ambassador Humaima Malick who has assured to stay loyal to the brand and will endorse it.
